The Gift Cards Addon allows you to create, manage, and send promotional gift cards or discount coupons directly from your Cleanly dashboard. This feature helps you boost sales, reward loyal customers, and run special campaigns such as Black Friday, seasonal offers, or new customer promotions.
📍 1. Accessing the Gift Cards Addon
- Log in to your WordPress Admin Dashboard.
- Navigate to:
Cleanly → Gift Cards - You will see the All Gift Cards screen, where all created gift cards are displayed in a card-style layout.
📌 2. Gift Cards Overview Screen
Each gift card is displayed with:
- Title (e.g., Black Friday Special Gift for You)
- Visual Card Preview
- Coupon Code
- Expiration Date & Time
- Action Buttons for sharing, emailing, editing, and deleting
At the top-right corner, you will find:
➕ Add New Card Button
Click this button to create a new gift card.
Branch Selector
If you have multiple branches, use this dropdown to filter gift cards by branch.
🎁 3. Gift Card Details Breakdown
Every gift card card includes:
🔖 Title Area
Displays the promotional name of the gift (Ex: Special Gift for Big Deal).
🧾 Coupon Code
This is the code customers will use during checkout.
⏳ Expired
Shows the expiry date and time of the coupon (Ex: 2025-12-31 12:00).
🔧 4. Available Actions for Each Gift Card
Below each card, you will find four action buttons:
1️⃣ Share Button
Allows you to share the coupon link or copy sharing options.
2️⃣ Send to Email
Opens an email send window.
You can directly send the gift coupon to a customer’s email address.
3️⃣ Edit Gift Card
Allows you to modify:
- Title
- Coupon code
- Discount details
- Expiration date
- Card design / colors
- Branch assignment
4️⃣ Delete Gift Card
Deletes the selected gift card permanently.
📤 5. Sending Gift Cards to Customers
The Send Gift Card via Email feature allows you to quickly deliver gift card coupons to your customers individually or in bulk. This tool helps you notify users about special offers, seasonal discounts, or promotional gift cards directly from the Cleanly dashboard.
1. Open the Send Email Popup
From the Gift Cards page, click the Send to Email button under any gift card.
A pop-up window will appear with all available email-sending options.
2. Choose Email Type
You can choose between two sending methods:
✔ Individual Email
Sends the gift card to one specific customer.
✔ Campaign Email
Sends the gift card to multiple customers based on their booking status (e.g., Pending, Completed, Cancelled, etc.).
You can tick one or both options depending on your goal.
3. Select Customer Types (For Campaign Emails)
If you choose Campaign Email, select which customer groups should receive this gift card. Options include:
- Pending
- Processing
- Hold
- Completed
- Cancelled
- Refunded
- Failed
- Review
- Expired
- Deposit
- Scheduled
You can select multiple statuses to target the right audience.
4. Enter Email Subject
Write the subject line for the email.
Example:
“Black Friday Special Gift for You”
This will appear as the title when customers receive the email.
5. Write the Message
Enter the email body content.
You can include:
- A short message
- The gift card details
- The coupon code
- Usage instructions
Example message:
“Special gift coupon code Code: BLACK_FRI_55”
6. Send the Email
After reviewing all details:
- Click Send Email
- The system will send the gift card to all selected recipients
A confirmation message will appear once the email is sent successfully.
