💳 Cleanly Booking – Square Payment Setup
The Square Payment gateway allows you to securely accept credit card payments through the Square platform.
1. Enabling Square Payment
- Navigate to:
Cleanly → Settings → Payment & Account → Payment Method - In Payment Gateways, check Square Payment.
- In Default Gateways, optionally select Square Payment to make it the preselected option for customers.
2. Sandbox Mode (Test Mode)
Use Sandbox Mode to test transactions without charging real cards.
- Toggle Enable Sandbox (Test Mode) to ON.
- Fill in the following fields with credentials from your Square Developer Dashboard:

3. Live Mode (Production Mode)
When ready to accept real payments, switch to Live Mode by turning Enable Sandbox (Test Mode) OFF.
Then fill in your production credentials from Square:

4. Webhook URL
To enable payment status updates, configure the webhook in your Square Developer Dashboard:

Replace [your-domain] with your actual site address.
5. Display Message
You can customize the confirmation text shown to customers after payment completion in the Display Message field.
Example:
“After completing your booking, you will be redirected to the confirmation page.”
