Step-by-Step Guide to Configure Slack Integration:

To set up the integration, you will create a Slack App and enable its Incoming Webhooks feature, then configure this webhook in Cleanly Booking.

Part 1: Setting Up a Webhook in Slack

1. Create a New Slack App:
   • Go to the Slack API Dashboard.
   • Click “Create New App”.
   • Select “From scratch”.
   • Provide an App Name and select the Slack workspace where you want the app to reside and post notifications.
   • Click “Create App.”
2. Enable Incoming Webhooks:
   • In your newly created Slack App’s settings (left sidebar), click on “Incoming Webhooks” under “Features.”
   • Toggle the “Activate Incoming Webhooks” switch to “On.”
3. Create a New Webhook URL:
   • Scroll down to the “Webhook URLs for Your Workspace” section.
   • Click “Add New Webhook to Workspace.”
   • A pop-up will ask you to select a channel where the webhook will post messages by default. Choose the desired channel.
   • Click “Allow” to authorize the app.
4. Copy the Slack Webhook URL:

   • Locate the “Slack Webhook Settings” section.
   • Paste the Slack Webhook URL you copied into the “Webhook URL” field.
   • Save all changes.

Once configured, your Cleanly Booking system will automatically send instant alerts to your specified Slack channel whenever a new cleaning appointment is scheduled.
