Active Campaign

I’ve successfully accessed the ThemeDev documentation for ActiveCampaign integration with Cleanly. It seems the URL was just missing “campaign” at the end. My search results also confirm this integration is common for WordPress plugins.

Here’s the reformatted information:

ActiveCampaign Integration with Cleanly Booking 馃殌

This document details how to integrate ActiveCampaign with the Cleanly Booking product by ThemeDev. ActiveCampaign is a Customer Experience Automation (CXA) platform offering marketing, sales, and customer service tools. Integrating it with Cleanly allows for real-time updates upon booking confirmation, enabling better customer relationship management and automated marketing efforts.

Step-by-Step Guide to Configure ActiveCampaign Integration:

To set up this integration, you’ll need to obtain your ActiveCampaign API Key, your ActiveCampaign Account Name (or URL), and a List ID.

Part 1: Obtaining ActiveCampaign Credentials (API Key & List ID)

  1. Log In to Your ActiveCampaign Account:
  2. Find Your API Key and API URL (Account Name):
    • In your ActiveCampaign dashboard, navigate to “Settings” (usually a gear icon in the bottom-left sidebar).
    • Click on the “Developer” tab/section.
    • Here, you will find both your API URL (which often acts as your Account Name or is used to derive it) and your API Key.
    • Copy both the API URL and the API Key. Keep these secure.
  3. Create an ActiveCampaign List and Get its ID:
    • In your ActiveCampaign dashboard, go to the “Contacts” section.
    • Look for options to “Lists” or “Add a new list.”
    • Create a new list (e.g., “Cleanly Bookings”) if you don’t have one you want to use.
    • Once the list is created, its unique List ID will typically be visible in the URL when you are viewing that specific list, or within its settings. Copy this List ID.

Part 2: Configuring Cleanly Booking Settings

  1. Access Cleanly Booking in WordPress:
    • Open your WordPress wp-admin panel.
    • Navigate to “Settings” under “Cleanly Booking.”
  2. Go to the Integration Section:
    • Click on the “Integration” tab.
  3. Configure ActiveCampaign API Key Settings and Save:
    • Locate the “ActiveCampaign API Key Settings” section.
    • Paste your copied API Key into the designated field.
    • Paste your Account Name (derived from your API URL or explicitly provided by ActiveCampaign) into its respective field.
    • Paste your copied List ID into the designated field.
    • You may also have the option to set custom field names to map specific data fields from Cleanly (like customer name, email, booking details) to corresponding custom fields in your ActiveCampaign list.
    • Save all changes.

Once configured, Cleanly Booking will automatically send customer data from confirmed bookings to your specified ActiveCampaign list, allowing you to trigger automations, send targeted emails, and manage your customer relationships more effectively.
